Technically, the PlayStation Vita should have been released with PSOne Classics compatibility, but Sony was making sure the PSP back catalogue and more of the Minis library were fully functional. In any case, Sony did promise the features, and it looks like the functionality isn’t too far off.
The first screens of a PSOne title appearing on the Vita Store and downloaded onto the device have surfaced on NeoGAF. Unfortunately, the game isn’t one of the popular titles you were probably expecting…
The game doesn’t actually work yet but it’s there on the store, can be installed on the PS Vita, but fails to start from its little install bubble. Lets hope the functionality isn’t too far off from release.
