Amazon has introduced a cash back promotion for the PlayStation Vita in Japan this week. The promotion, which runs until July 31st lets gamers purchase a 3G PS Vita, a game, and a 4GB memory card to get a discount of around ¥5,000 (approximately £41, $63).
Amazon ran a similar deal earlier this year, but offered a smaller discount. A few other retailers have been offering discounted PS Vita’s recently, including retailers in France and Walmart in North America. All of which seem to be offering a similar discount.
Could this mean that Sony is testing the waters before actually cutting the price of the Vita worldwide?
