Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has discussed a potential PS Vita version of upcoming shooter Borderlands 2. During a developer session, Pitchford discussed how the cross-save feature on the PS Vita could be used to “keep developing that same character because it exists on the cloud somewhere.”
However, Gearbox are already working on a number of upcoming titles including a new Brothers in Arms and Aliens: Colonial Marines titles, and doesn’t have the capacity to also develop a PS Vita version of the game. “We’re too busy to develop it ourselves. But I know there are a lot of talented developers who could take our code, our source and our content and perhaps create something like that,” he said.
