At Sony’s Press Conference at Gamescom earlier today, Cross-Buy for the PS Vita and PS3 was formally announced. We’ve seen cross-buy already with titles like MotorStorm RC and DLC, but PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal will be the first full game to support the initiative.
Gamers who purchase the PS3 version of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal will get the PS Vita version completely free. Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will also support the initiative.
UPDATE:
Sony has confirmed that the offer will be on retail and online purchases. Purchasing PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on PSN or Blu-ray will mean you can download the PS Vita version for free.
