Criterion has revealed that upcoming Need for Speed title, Most Wanted, on the PS Vita will be identical to its console counterparts. Speaking to VideoGamer.com last week, producer Matt Webster revealed that the PlayStation Vita version is “exactly the same game” as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.
The game on the PS Vita will feature the “same big open-world… same cars… same Autolog features and the same competition”. The PS Vita only has one difference. The multiplayer mode on the PS Vita is restricted to 4-players, while the console version supports up to 12 players.
“We’re really, really thrilled with what we’ve managed to do on Vita,” he continued. “It’s coming along really well.”
Speed Points earned in the Vita version of the game can also be transferred across to other platforms, and vice-versa.
Need For Speed: Most Wanted launches on PlayStation Vita alongside Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions on November 2nd.
