Firmware v2.00 is launching on the PS Vita this week, bringing with it a whole host of features for PlayStation Plus subscribers. In addition to automatic updates, wireless synching and cloud storage, the Web browser will also be updated so that its a “small app”. This little tidbit was revealed by Sony World Wide Studio boss Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter.
The browser will be much faster to use, and even better is that the browser will be usable along side games, so you no longer have to quit your game to use it. Something that is sure to please the many PS Vita owners out there who have been asking for the browser to be multi-tasking compatible.
