The release date for Borderlands 2 for the PS Vita has finally been revealed – the game will be releasing worldwide on May 13th 2014. The game will also be available in a Limited Edition bundle, which comes with the new slimmer, lighter PS Vita, and an 8GB memory card for $199.
The PS Vita version of the game will include six add-on packs that were released for the original game on home consoles: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, the Psycho and Mechromancer Character Classes, as well as the Ultimate Vault Hunter’s Upgrade Pack and the Collector’s Edition pack.
The game supports cross-save with the PS3 version, so you can pick up right where you left off. You can easily transfer your saved game from PS Vita to PS3 and vice-versa so you don’t miss one second of the shooting and looting mayhem.
