Despite being popular with developers and regular new content, Sony is shutting down PlayStation Mobile this July. Support for PlayStation Mobile has already been dropped on Android devices and soon it will be dropped for the PS Vita too.
On July 15th 2015, the PlayStation Mobile store will stop accepting new content, but you’ll still be able to download and purchase content. On September 10th 2015, the store will close completely and you won’t be able re-download any game you’ve purchased in the past.
Any PlayStation Mobile content downloaded prior to the closure will continue to work in the future, but if you delete it, you won’t be able to re-download and install it. Make sure your device is authenticated to use PlayStation Mobile apps beforehand.
The PlayStation Mobile platform has been around for a few years now, giving Indie developers a easy way to develop and publish content for the PS Vita and compatible mobile devices. However, it never really got any serious traction with consumers. I for one never purchased any PS Mobile content
