As part of Sony’s press conference at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this morning, Sony have issued a press release detailing the PlayStation Vita complete tech specs, launch line-up and pricing details. First up, there are 26 games available at launch, with more than 74 currently in development.

TGS 2011: Final Fantasy X HD Announced for PS3 and PlayStation Vita
Great news for fans of Final Fantasy X. Square Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy X will be getting an HD re-release in celebration of the game’s 10th anniversary. Personally, I rather see a remake of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII for the PS3 and PlayStation Vita in HD, but this is good news nonetheless.
TGS 2011: PlayStation Vita Japanese Release Date Announced
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Vita will launch on December 17th in Japan. Unfortunately, the release date for North America and Europe is still unknown, but lets home it isn’t too far off the Japanese release. The European release of the new portable console is already looking like its going to be in Early 2012.
Sony Tokyo Game Show Press Conference Date Revealed
Sony has confirmed that their press conference at the 2011 Tokyo Games Show will be held on September 14th 2011, but a time has yet to be confirmed. Sony’s keynote speech will be a day after that of Nintendo’s, and its expected that the PlayStation Vita will headline the event.

Sony Releases PSP-E1000 Technical Specification
Sony has released the official system specifications of its upcoming budget-priced PSP model, the PSP-E1000 series. The devices was announced last week at Gamescom 2011, and will retail for just €99.99. In order for Sony to offer such a low price, the PSP-E1000 doesn’t include several features, including Wi-fi and stereo sound.
