WipEout 2048 Updated to v1.04
WipEout 2048 on the PlayStation Vita has received a new patch, updating the game to version v1.04. The changelog in the update simply states “Various Bug Fixes” but following on from the post this morning about WipEout HD DLC content, the trophy list for the game has indeed been updated. The update is 142 MB in size – a quite significant update for just bug fixes…
WipEout HD & Fury Coming to PlayStation Vita
A screenshot of the trophy list for WipEout 2048 suggests that the PS Vita game will be getting WipEout HD and the WipEout HD Fury DLC pack as downloadable content. The addition of the new content will add a further 22 trophies to the game, and most likely add cross-save features to the game, allowing PS3 owners to continue their campaign on the PS Vita, though this has yet to be confirmed.

PS Vita Sales Continue to Grow Slowly
PS Vita sales worldwide are starting to grow slowly according to VGChartz. In week ending June 9th 2012, the PS Vita sold just over 50,000 units world wide – not a lot compared to the 3DS’ 135,000+ units – but a growth compared to the previous week’s 45,000 units. Week on week, the PS Vita’s sales increased by 10%, and exceeded the PSP’s sales, which is still going strong.
Sony Removes 4GB Memory Card from Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Bundle
Sony has discretely removed the 4GB Memory Card that was supposed to be part of the Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation bundle. At E3 2012, Sony announced a PS Vita white console, the Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation game and a 4GB memory card would be included in the bundle, however, the product listing on the PlayStation Website shows that the 4GB memory card is no longer included.
Gran Theft Auto for PS Vita Mentioned In Survey
Another survey was carried out today for the PS Vita, following on from the Gran Turismo one we reported about earlier. This time, the survey mentioned Gran Theft Auto for the PS Vita, as well as a possible price for the title. The survey is a slightly modified version of the survey that went out a few days ago.
