Silent Hill: Book of Memories was originally slated for release in March, but was pushed out of the PS Vita launch window until May. Well, it’s May and still no Silent Hill. It appears that Konami have delayed the title again, but chose not to tell the public.
Sly Cooper and Carmelita Fox are coming to the PlayStation Vita, and picks up where Sly 3 left off. In Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Sly is feigning amnesia so he can be with the love of his life, Carmelita. But when he re-joins the Cooper Gang on their time-travelling escapade to restore his family’s legacy, you can be sure Carmelita will quickly become embroiled in their wild adventure.
On May 22nd 2012, the PlayStation Vita will get a new Augmented Reality game developed by Devil’s Details in Sheffield, UK. Table Top Tanks lets players create a virtual battle field using real world objects. Table Top Tanks allows you to play with and against AI tanks or you can play against up to three friends over Ad Hoc.
Launching this fall, Smart As is a social brain-training experience that will put your brain to the test with 20 unique, engaging, tactile and highly interactive puzzle games. This next-gen puzzle game will also enable you to share your stats with players from around the world using a robust set of social and connective features.
According to Chart-Track data, the PS Vita in the UK is tracking at just under a third of what the PSP achieved after the first ten weeks. The PS Vita has sold just 100,000 units according to the website, although the numbers have not been confirmed by Sony.
The US PlayStation Store has been updated with a range of new PSP and Minis titles compatible with the PlayStation Vita. These games should keep you busy while we wait for titles such as Resistance: Burning Skies, Sound Shapes and Gravity Rush to hit the PS Vita. E3 is only a few short weeks away and like every year, the major companies will be pushing hard to get their products and services noticed.
