New titles will be added to the #PlayStationMemories sale later today, as discounted PSP and PS Vita titles are added to the PlayStation Store. The PSP has played an important part in PlayStation’s history, with some great titles like God of War: Chains of Olympus, WipEout Pure and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.

Killzone: Mercenary Beta Footage in 720p HD
Beta footage of upcoming FPS title Killzone: Mercenary has leaked out, recorded directly from the PS Vita in nice 720p HD quality. The closed beta started earlier in August, but a public beta is expected to start in late August. The 22-minute long video shows just how impressive the game look.
Killzone: Mercenary Closed Beta Now Live, Open Beta Coming in Late August
If you signed up for the closed beta for Killzone: Mercenary, check your inboxes as invite codes are being sent out with instructions on how to get access. If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to get an invite, don’t worry. Guerrilla Games has confirmed that a Open public beta will start in late August, giving everyone a chance to play the multiplayer component of the game.
Tearaway Delayed Until November 2013
Media Molecule have officially delayed the release date for their upcoming PS Vita title, Tearaway, as the development team require some more time to complete the game. The game will now miss it’s October 22nd / 23rd release date in North America and Europe and will instead release a month later, on November 22nd in both territories.
Over 25 Minutes of Killzone Mercenary Gameplay
A new video of Killzone Mercenary, the upcoming first-person shooter for the PS Vita, has emerged, showing over 25 minutes of gameplay footage. The 720p video is footage recorded directly from the PS Vita, and shows just how impressive the game is looking. The video shows the game’s opening sequence and the entire first level of the game.
Worms Revolution Extreme Coming to PS Vita
Team17 have announced that Worms will be coming to the PS Vita later this year, in a new title called Worms Revolution Extreme. The game will have an extensive single player campaign spanning 47 missions and 25 puzzles, local and online multiplayer, and cross-play functionality with the PS3.
PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD Release Date Confirmed
The official release date for PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD has been finally been confirmed for the PS Vita. PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD has been faithfully recreated for PlayStation Vita in high definition, with 30+ hours of gameplay, online and ad-hoc co-op play and everything you loved about all the previous editions. Even better, the game will be available on the PlayStation Store at the end of this month.
Sign-Up for the Killzone: Mercenary Closed Beta
Sony has opened up registration for the closed multiplayer beta for Killzone: Mercenary on the PS Vita. Candidates have until 10:00pm BST on 17th July to sign up for gamers’ first look at Mercenary’s impressive multiplayer package, and can do so here. If you are selected for the beta, you’ll get an email giving you further instructions on how to access the game.
Total Recoil Coming to PS Vita Next Month
UK based indie developer Eiconic Games has announced Total Recoil for the PS Vita, which will be releasing in Europe and North America next month. Total Recoil is a top-down shooter with 3D environments, characters with big heads and a huge arsenal of weapons at your disposal.
PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD Announced for PS Vita
Double Eleven, the developers behind the PS Vita versions of LittleBigPlanet and Limbo, have announced that PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD is coming to the PS Vita. Working closely with Q-Games, Double Eleven have remastered the game to make use of the PS Vita’s high-resolution screen, adding touch controls and new features to the game.
