Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable Coming to PS Vita in January
Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable invades the PS Vita in January in North America as a digital download title. The game will be available on the PlayStation Store on January 8th, 2013 for $39.99 and players will get to experience all the intense action that the Earth Defense Force can endure.
LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Updated to v1.06
LittleBigPlanet on the PS Vita has been updated to version v1.06. The massive 106 MB update makes some much needed changes to the online component of the game, speeding up the loading of community levels as well as making it more stable when playing the game with friends. Previously, the game suffered poor loading times and severe lag.
PS Vita Firmware v2.02 Available Now
Sony has revealed (via Twitter) that a new firmware update for the PS Vita is now available to download. The minor update is optional to install and improves software stability during use of some features. It is likely that the firmware will be required with playing newer titles.
Ecolibrium Updated to v1.03
Ecolibrium on the PS Vita has been updated to version v1.03, and includes a number of new features and changes to the game. The patch adds new species, a new ecosystem class, new challenges, three new unlockables ecosystems and lots more to the game. A full changelog of the update is available below.
PlayStation Home Arcade Available on the PS Vita
A part of PlayStation Home is now available on the PS Vita, at lease on the European PlayStation Store. The PlayStation Home Arcade is available to download, giving PS Vita owners access to a number of mini-games straight from PlayStation Home. The games include WipEout 2D, Ice Breaker and a one-level demo of Scribble Shooter.
Dead or Alive 5 Plus Confirmed for March Release in Europe
Following on from Team NINJA and Tecmo Koei Europe announcement of Dead or Alive 5 Plus and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus coming to Europe in 2013, a official release date has also been revealed for Europe. Dead or Alive 5 Plus will be releasing in Europe on March 22nd 2013, with a US release date to follow at a later date.
Mortal Kombat Coming to PlayStation Plus Next Week
Sony has revealed that Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita will be coming to PlayStation Plus ast part of next week’s PlayStation Store update. The game will added to the Instant Game Collection on December 19th 2012, but gamers in Germany won’t have access to the game due to youth protection laws.
Let’s Fish: Hooked On “Features” Trailer
Wired Productions and SIMS Co. Ltd have released a new trailer for PS Vita exclusive title Let’s Fish: Hooked On. The new trailer shows the game in action and introduces you to some of the main gameplay features, and was released along side the launch of the official website.
Travel Bug Updated to v1.01
Travel Bug has received a patch, updating the game to version v1.01. The update is 38 MB in size and adds new clothing and accessories to the game, including seasonal hats, shoes and t-shirts. The update also adds new clothing and accessories for those that want to dress bugs up as females.
