Indie developer FuturLabs, who developed the highly-acclaimed PlayStation Minis title Velocity, has signed a development contract with Sony to produce games for the PS Vita. The deal means the developers keep full control of the IP but will get support from the platform holders to produce new games for the portable console.

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Updated to v1.05
LittleBigPlanet on the PS Vita has been updated to version v1.05, adding a number of improvements to the game. The update is a massive 106 MB in size and includes support for additional DLC costumes, stability improvements and interface changes. Lets hope the update also improves the online experience of the game, which has been criticised by gamers as being slow and unstable.
Dead or Alive 5 Plus & Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus Confirmed for Europe
Team NINJA and Tecmo Koei Europe have confirmed that both Dead or Alive 5 Plus and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus will be making their way to PAL territories for PlayStation Vita in 2013. Dead or Alive 5 Plus was recently announced by Head of Team Ninja Yosuke Hayashi, and will be a port of the console version with extra features.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for November 2012
SCEE has released the PlayStation Store Charts for November 2012, revealing that Assassin’s Creed III Liberation was the top title for the second month in a row on the PS Vita. In second place was Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified, despite receiving poor reviews by critics.
Uncharted: Fight for Fortune Trophy List
The latest Uncharted title on the PS Vita is a card game featuring 15 trophies to unlock. Uncharted: Fight for Fortune has 11 trophies itself, while the two DLC packs have two additional trophies each. There are three gold and five silver trophies to unlock, out of the 15 trophies in total.
Top PSN Sellers for November 2012 in North America
SCEA have released the Charts for top downloaded titles in November 2012, revealing that Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified was the most downloaded title, despite receiving poor reviews. The second most downloaded title was Assassin’s Creed III Liberation, while PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was in 6th place.
No PS Vita Games in Sony’s 12 Deals of Christmas
Gamers looking to get a deal on PS Vita content as part of SCEE’s 12 Deals of Christas will be disappointed to hear that only PS3 content will be part of the promotion. SCEE’s Chris Howe has confirmed that no PS Vita games will be included in the promotion “due to the lack of them”.
PS Vita Firmware v2.01 Now Available
Sony has released a new firmware update for the PS Vita, updating the console to version v2.01. As we reported earlier, Firmware v2.00 had a bug with synching savedata to the cloud, which has now been fixed in this minor update. If you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber. The YouTube App on the PS Vita has been updated to version v2.0, bringing several new features that will enhance your viewing experience even further. Changes include improved controls, closed captions, sharing via twitter and email, and improved searching.
Dead or Alive 5 Coming to PS Vita in 2013
Head of Team Ninja, Yosuke Hayashi, has revealed that Dead or Alive 5 is coming to the PS Vita in the new year. The game on the PS Vita will be called Dead or Alive 5 Plus, and will include the full game along with additional content. The console versions will also be expanded with a patch in 2013.
