Following the limited release of t@g earlier this week, the app official releases to the public later today across Europe. This augmented reality social graffiti app will be free to download, but will only work on PS Vita’s with 3G as it requires GPS to work correctly.

PlayStation Mobile Developer Programe Officially Launches
Sony has officially opened the doors to the PlayStation Mobile Developer Programe, allowing third-party developers to start creating apps and games for PlayStation Certified devices, including the PS Vita. The program allows developers to create apps using the PlayStation Mobile SDK and distribute them via the PlayStation Mobile Store for an annual fee.
US Instant Game Collection for PS Vita Details
The Instant Game Collection for the PS Vita is now live in North America, adding six titles to the collection including launch titles Uncharted: Golden Abyss and WipEout 2048. The initial six games include mainly PS Vita titles, but also Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP. Check out the full list of games in the collection below.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss Updated to Version v1.03
Bend Studio has released a new patch for Uncharted: Golden Abyss to add compatibility for their upcoming new title, Uncharted: Fight for Fortune. The 90 MB patch enables players to collect and unlock cards for use in the new game, while also increasing the frequency of bounty dropping after killing an enemy.
PS Vita Firmware v2.00 Now Available
The latest firmware update for the PS Vita is now available to download, adding a host of improvements, new features and PlayStation Plus compatibility to the console. Sony has changed the web browser to be a separate app, increasing it’s speed and improving its HTML5 capabilities.
Uncharted: Fight For Fortune Coming to PS Vita in December
Sony has revealed that a new Uncharted title is coming to the PS Vita this December. Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is an action-adventure turn-based card game featuring the heroes and villains from the Uncharted universe, and was leaked last week. The core gameplay involves creating a team of Faction cards featuring heroes, villains, and mercenaries and then using that team to defeat your opponent while defending yourself from their attacks.
Sony Sending Out Emails for Early Access to t@g
Remember t@g? The PS Vita app that lets you virtually tag places with graffiti using the console’s camera, GPS and augmented reality? Sony is currently sending out ‘early access’ vouchers to download the game, ahead of it’s release. The game was originally scheduled to be released in the Summer, but was delayed without any word from Sony.
PS Vita Firmware v2.00 Updating Web Browser
Firmware v2.00 is launching on the PS Vita this week, bringing with it a whole host of features for PlayStation Plus subscribers. In addition to automatic updates, wireless synching and cloud storage, the Web browser will also be updated so that its a “small app”. This little tidbit was revealed by Sony World Wide Studio boss Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss Developers, Bend Studio, Working on New PS Vita Title
SCE Bend Studios, developers of the successful Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the PS Vita are working on a new AAA title for the portable console, according to a job listing on Gamastura. The job listing says the team are looking for artistic talen to help them “create AAA content” for the PS Vita.
PS Vita Sold Just 4,000 Units In Japan Last Week
The PS Vita’s sales continue to disappoint across the globe, despite Christmas being just around the corner. In Japan last week, the console sold just 4,021 units, compared to around 6,000 units the week before. Both figures are quite bad, especially when compared to the Nintendo 3DS. Sony really need to get the Vita going, and even more so at such a critical time for sales.
