SCEE has released the official box art for upcoming title, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation on the PS Vita. The game has been given a provisional PEGI rating of 18. The game is scheduled for release on October 31st 2011 across Europe and October 30th in North America.

SunFlowers Coming to PS Vita This Autumn
A new PS Vita title called SunFlowers has been announced, and will be coming this Autumn. This attractive and colourful game has a pretty simple objective: you have to grow flowers using chain-reactions. The game makes use of the PS Vita’s touch screen and motion sensing capabilities. The game is also one of the few games on the Vita that plays vertically.

NFS: Most Wanted on PS Vita is ‘Exactly the Same’ as Console Versions
Criterion has revealed that upcoming Need for Speed title, Most Wanted, on the PS Vita will be identical to its console counterparts. Speaking to VideoGamer.com last week, producer Matt Webster revealed that the PlayStation Vita version is “exactly the same game” as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.
Plants vs. Zombies Sequel Coming Spring 2013
PopCap Games has revealed that the sequel to Plants vs. Zombies is on it’s way. The game has been around since 2009, but was only released to the PS Vita recently. The sequel is set for release in late Spring 2013 but the developer hasn’t revealed which platforms the game will be available on.
PS Vita Sells 2.2 Million Units Worldwide
Sony PlayStation Germany chief Uwe Bassendowski has revealed that the PS Vita has sold 2.2 million units worldwide since the console was launched. Bassendowski also revealed that the company’s marking efforts have failed to captivate younger gamers, but will address this problem going forward.
Over 100 PSOne Classics will be Compatible with PS Vita on August 28th
In a Press Release, Sony has confirmed that over a 100 PSOne Classics will be compatible on the PS Vita when Firmware v1.80 launches at the end of August. Jim Ryan revealed that from August 28th, over 100 PS One classics including Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, and Resident Evil 2 will be available to download for PS Vita.
Neocom Vita App Lets You Stay Connected to DUST 514 “On The Go”
Dust 514 on the PS3 has an PS Vita counterpart called Neocom. The Neocom app lets you interact with various systems from the game directly from your handheld. New information about how the app works was revealed at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany last week.

Konami has released new screenshots of upcoming survival horror title Silent Hill: Book of Memories on the PS Vita. The game focuses on overhead gameplay with different characters working together and support for up to four players.
Spy Hunter PS Vita Trailer Released
Warner Bros. interactive have released a new trailer for their reboot of the 80′s classic Spy Hunter. The game is due out in October for the PS Vita and sees players take the role of “The Agent” as they aim to take down a global terrorist organisation bent on world domination.
