Sony have announced that support for PlayStation Mobile on Android devices has ended for PlayStation Certified devices. Devices running Android OS version 4.4.2 or earlier will be able to enjoy the entire library of games and apps, but those on Android OS 4.4.3 or later may run into compatibility issues. Sony say that their focus is on content for PS Vita TV and PS Vita from now on, and that PSM will continue.

Table Top Racing Coming to PS Vita Next Month
If you loved games like Micro Machines, you’ll be happy to know that the PS Vita is getting it’s own micro racing title next month. Liverpool-based indie development studio Playrise Digital have joined forces with publisher Ripstone to bring their award-winning game Table Top Racing to PS Vita in August.
PS Vita TV Becomes PlayStation TV
In addition to announcing the PS Vita TV in Western territories at E3, Sony will also be renaming the device to just PlayStation TV, or PS TV. The PS Vita TV was released in Japan and Asia last November, and has evolved constantly to bring new features. At just 6.5cm × 10.5cm in size, the PS TV is the smallest PlayStation platform to connect to a TV.
PS Vita TV Coming to North America and Europe this Autumn
Sony has finally announced the PS Vita TV for the North American and European markets. The new hardware will be released in North America and Europe in Autumn of this year, for just $99. A bundle will also be available for £139, which will include a controller and the LEGO Movie Videogame.
PS Vita Action Mega Pack Bundle Launches this Summer
Sony will be releasing a new bundle for the PS Vita. The Action Mega Pack will feature five action-packed games for the portable console. It also comes complete with an 8 GB memory card to fit savedata and DLC for each of the games. You can get the bundle for €39.99, or get the bundle with the PS Vita console for €199.99. Both version come with an 8 GB memory card.
Sony to Discontinue the PSP In Japan
Sony is finally letting go of the PSP – it’s first handheld game console – with production stopping in Japan effective immediately. The console has sold over 80 million units worldwide. Current owners of the PSP will also be able to trade in the handheld for the newer console: the PS Vita.
The Walking Dead Season 2 Coming to PS Vita Next Week
Episodes 1 & 2 of The Walking Dead Season 2 will finally be releasing to the PS Vita next week, on Wednesday, 23rd April 2014. The two episodes have been available on the PS3 for some time now, and the next episode, ‘In Harm’s Way’ will be releasing soon, so PS Vita games have a chance to catch up with the console counterpart.
Dead Nation Coming to PS Vita This Week
Third-person zombie shooter, Dead Nation, is coming to the PS Vita this week. The top-down shooter was recently launched on the PS4, and will be coming to the PS Vita on April 15th in North America and April 16th in Europe, for just €7.99.
Borderlands 2 Coming to PS Vita in May
The release date for Borderlands 2 for the PS Vita has finally been revealed – the game will be releasing worldwide on May 13th 2014. The game will also be available in a Limited Edition bundle, which comes with the new slimmer, lighter PS Vita, and an 8GB memory card for $199.
PS Vita Pets Release Date Revealed
Sony has revealed the official release date for upcoming pet simulator PS Vita Pets. The game will be releasing in North America on June 3rd, followed by Europe on June 4th 2014. The game is exclusive to the PS Vita and combines elements of a pet simulator with an adventure game.
