The week ending June 16th 2012 has been incredible for PS Vita sales. Compared to the previous week, the PS Vita has sold 56% more units around the world. The PS Vita sold around 81,685 units according to VGChartz, compared to around 52,377 units the week before.

YouTube App Available on PS Vita Today
The YouTube App for the PS Vita was announced a while ago, but today is the day you finally get to download it. Sony has announced that the app will be available to download later today from the PlayStation Store for free. The app will let you watch, search and discover videos using Wi-fi or on the go using 3G.
PS Vita Sale On PlayStation Store – Part 3

Earth Defense Force Coming to PS Vita In Japan
Earth Defence Force 2017, a third-person shooter developed by Sandlot and published by D3 Publisher, for the Xbox 360, is coming to the PS Vita in Japan in September. The title, which was released back in 2007, will be ported to the PS Vita and retitled as “Earth Defense Force 3 Portable”.
Rumor Alert: PSOne Classic Coming to PS Vita End of June
With only a few days to go until the end of June, this rumor is a bit of a stretch, but worth mentioning anyway. According to an “anonymous source,” a firmware update for the PS Vita will be released in the next few days that will enable PSOne Classics to be played on the PS Vita.
LittleBigPlanet Vita Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed
LittleBigPlanet on the PS Vita is now available to pre-order. Depending on the retailer you choose and which country you live in, you will get a different pre-order bonus costume packs. Gamers have two choices of costume packs: Knights of Old or BioShock. The former will be exclusive to pre-orders, and won’t be available to purchase in the future.
First PlayStation Mobile Apps Begin To Appear
The PlayStation Mobile (or PlayStation Suite) SDK has been in open beta for a few months now, and the first apps are beginning to appear. The first is a calculator app for the PS Vita (download link below) and the second is a Tic-Tac-Toe game (no download link available).
