With Resistance: Burning Skies scheduled to be out in a week’s time, new screenshots have been released to show off how polished the game looks on the PlayStation Vita. There isn’t a visible HUD in the screens so it’s unclear if the screens are actual gameplay or cut-scenes.

According to reports, beta email for LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation Vita have started going out, containing a PSN code to download the beta from the PlayStation Store. The beta registration opened around two weeks ago. Naturally, no everyone who applied for the beta will get access.
Resistance: Burning Skies to Spread “Virus” Using Near
The fifth title in the Resistance franchise, Resistance: Burning Skies, will be available on the PlayStation Vita at the end of May across Europe. With just a few days to do until release, Frank Simon, Senior Managing Producer at Sony Computer America, has revealed that the game will make use of the PS Vita’s Near application.
Two Vita Titles Cancelled as Developer Sticks with iOS
Mobile developer Cave have cancelled their two Vita games currently in production, according to a note in the latest Famitsu magazine. Two titles were being developed for the PS Vita, including a social game making use of the PS Vita’s features, including the use of Near to check-in and in-game coins based on how far you’ve travelled with the game.
3G PS Vita Gets £85 Price Cut with Vodafone
The 3G version of the PS Vita has been reduced in price at Vodafone retail stores. According to reports, the price has been cut from the RRP of £279 to £194 – making it cheaper than the Wifi version in some stores. The 3G Vita comes with a Vodafone pay-as-you-go SIM card for 3G internet access.
Silent Hill on PlayStation Vita Delayed Again
Silent Hill: Book of Memories was originally slated for release in March, but was pushed out of the PS Vita launch window until May. Well, it’s May and still no Silent Hill. It appears that Konami have delayed the title again, but chose not to tell the public.

Table Top Tanks Coming to PS Vita on May 22nd 2012
On May 22nd 2012, the PlayStation Vita will get a new Augmented Reality game developed by Devil’s Details in Sheffield, UK. Table Top Tanks lets players create a virtual battle field using real world objects. Table Top Tanks allows you to play with and against AI tanks or you can play against up to three friends over Ad Hoc.
