StarDrone Extreme Now Available on PS Vita
StarDrone Extreme for Playstation Vita is now available on the PlayStation Store on April 17th for $3.99. For those of you not familiar with what StarDrone Extreme is about, here’s a brief: you pilot an always-in-motion spaceship through diverse cosmic environments through the game’s 60 levels.
Resistance: Burning Skies Multiplayer Details Revealed
Details for the multiplayer mode in Resistance: Burning Skies have finally been revealed by Nihilistic Software. The game comes out on May 29th 2012, and in addition to its all-new single player campaign, Burning Skies features an online (via Wi-Fi) multiplayer in which you and up to seven of your friends can compete over PlayStation Network.

Texas based Escape Hatch Entertainment have announced a new PS Vita game, Starlight: Inception, due for release in Q3 2013 (a long time away). The game is a space combat experience with modern strategic elements. You assume the role of a young space fighter pilot assigned to the star carrier USF Independence, deploying to hot spots throughout the Solar System during World War IV.
Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention Hits PS Vita April 17th
Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention as it will be hitting both PSN and retailer shelves on April 17th. For newcomers, Disgaea is a turn-based strategy RPG where players can move and arrange their characters using a grid-based system to perform special attacks, or team up to do millions of points of damage (often in very comical cutscenes) against their opponents.
PS Vita Firmware Update v1.66
After PS Vita Firmware v1.65 was pulled yesterday due to some “technical difficulties,” Sony has now released PS Vita Firmware v1.66. Weighing in at 97MB, you can now update your console to the latest version via the [Settings] menu on the PS Vita or by using a PS3 or PC/Mac.
Resistance: Burning Skies Will Feature 8-Player Online Multiplayer
If you are looking for a solid first-person shooter with competitive online gameplay on the PlayStation Vita, Resistance: Burning Skies is the game for you. Although not much about the game and its online capabilities has been revealed, an update to the game’s official webpage indicates Burning Skies will feature 8-man competitive multiplayer, staged across 6 maps and 3 game modes.
PS Vita Firmware Update v1.65 Taken Down
Those hoping to update their PlayStation Vita to the latest firmware version announced this morning will have to wait. Sony has confirmed that the update was taken down due to a technical fault. “For any customers who may have already downloaded the firmware, they can continue as normal,” said a spokesperson.
