New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, including a number of new PS Vita games and PS Mobile titles. New PlayStation Plus discounts are available too, and Killzone Mercenary is now available to pre-order. You can also find new DLC.
Lots of new content is available on the PlayStation Store in North America this week, with four new PS Vita game added to the Store, including Fruit Ninja and new puzzler Open Me!. New discounts are available for PlayStation Plus subscribers as well as new playable demos and DLC.
New PS Vita puzzler Open Me launches in North America later today and in Europe tomorrow. The augmented reality game was first revealed back in September 2012, and was developed by PlayStation C.A.M.P., the same team behind Tokyo Jungle. A free trial of the game will also be available if you want to try before you buy.
SCEA has released the PlayStation Store charts for July 2013, revealing the top selling PS Vita, PSP, and PS Mobile titles and DLC content. On the PS Vita, Mortal Kombat PS Vita was the top selling title, followed by LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. On PS Mobile, new release Tokyo Jungle Mobile was the top selling title.
Sony has released the Top 10 PSN chart for July 2013 in Europe, showing the most downloaded titles on the PS Vita. Hotline Miami keeps its No. 1 spot for the second month running, followed by new entries Total Recoil and Machinarium on the chart in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. New entry Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark also debuts on the chart in 6th position.

New content is available on the North American PlayStation Store, including two new PS Vita games and playable demos. Among the new content is new PS Vita title Dragon’s Crown, a playable demo of Doodle God and PlayStation Plus discounts on a number of titles. You can also find free DLC for both Soul Sacrifice and Dragon’s Crown.
New titles will be added to the #PlayStationMemories sale later today, as discounted PSP and PS Vita titles are added to the PlayStation Store. The PSP has played an important part in PlayStation’s history, with some great titles like God of War: Chains of Olympus, WipEout Pure and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.
A major new firmware update was made available overnight for the PS Vita, updating the console to system software v2.60. The update includes a large number of new features and tweaks to make the console even easier to use, including a smoother looking interface, more PlayStation Plus functionality, and privacy settings for Trophies.
Beta footage of upcoming FPS title Killzone: Mercenary has leaked out, recorded directly from the PS Vita in nice 720p HD quality. The closed beta started earlier in August, but a public beta is expected to start in late August. The 22-minute long video shows just how impressive the game look.
