A number of new PS Vita games and DLC have been added to the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including Doodle God and more free DLC for Soul Sacrifice. You can also find new DLC for Dead or Alive 5 and LittleBigPlanet, all cross-buy compatible with the PS3 versions of the games.
Sony has opened up registration for the closed multiplayer beta for Killzone: Mercenary on the PS Vita. Candidates have until 10:00pm BST on 17th July to sign up for gamers’ first look at Mercenary’s impressive multiplayer package, and can do so here. If you are selected for the beta, you’ll get an email giving you further instructions on how to access the game.
New PS Vita games are available on the US PlayStation Store this week, including Total Recoil and Coconut Dodge Revitalised. A new playable demo is also available, as well as new DLC content for Pinball Arcade. It’s a small update overall, so not a lot of new content has been added.

UK based indie developer Eiconic Games has announced Total Recoil for the PS Vita, which will be releasing in Europe and North America next month. Total Recoil is a top-down shooter with 3D environments, characters with big heads and a huge arsenal of weapons at your disposal.
A small update to the European PlayStation Store is now live, featuring only one new PS Vita game: cross-buy title Hotline Miami. You can also find new DLC for games including Guacamelee!, Pinball Arcade, Ratchet & Clank QForce and new free DLC for Soul Sacrifice.

Double Eleven, the developers behind the PS Vita versions of LittleBigPlanet and Limbo, have announced that PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD is coming to the PS Vita. Working closely with Q-Games, Double Eleven have remastered the game to make use of the PS Vita’s high-resolution screen, adding touch controls and new features to the game.
July’s PlayStation Plus line-up was revealed earlier yesterday, but it looks like August’s line-up has also been leaked, revealing more top titles coming to the Instant Game Collection. July’s update includes Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13, and it looks like When Vikings Attack (cross-buy) and New Little King’s Story will be coming to the PS Vita in August.
