A light update to the PS Vita Store this week in North America, with only a handful of new content. New PS Vita app Imaginstruments is available on the Store, along with a new addition to the Instant Game Collection. Some new DLC content for Soul Sacrifice is available too.
Rayman Legends Coming to PS Vita
Ubisoft has confirmed that a PS Vita version of Wii U title, Rayman Legends, is coming to the PS Vita this August. “Rayman Legends on Vita includes all of the original Rayman Legends content,” says the press release, “as well as five exclusive maps playable with Murphy, the green bottle fly seen in previous Rayman games, controlled through the Rear TouchPad.”
Sony’s E3 Live Stream will be Compatible with the PS Vita
Sony has confirmed that their E3 Press Conference will be streamed in a format compatible with the PS Vita. The news was confirmed on the European PlayStation.Blog, with Fred Dutton confirming that “you will be able to watch the show somewhere, somehow on your Vita.”
Epic Mickey 2 Coming to PS Vita This June with Enhanced Features
SCEA has revealed that PS Vita owners will be able to check out Disney Interactive’s Epic Mickey 2 on PS Vita next month, on June 18th 2013. The PS3 game has been ported to the PS Vita, but adding a number of new features that are only made possible with PS Vita’s unique touch capabilities. The Vita version implements new ways to control the game and adds ad hoc network functionality.
Men’s Room Mayhem Trophy List
Men’s Room Mayhem is the newest game to come from developer Sawfly Studios for the PS Vita. As the janitor, your goal is to direct patrons to the urinals or toilet, and keep them from getting into fights. You can score extra points by using proper etiquette and good hygiene. The game has 14 trophies to unlock, including one gold and two silver trophies.
EU PS Vita Store Update for May 22nd 2013
Lots of new DLC content is available for the PS Vita this week on the PlayStation Store in Europe, but not a lot of other content has been released. New title Men’s Room Mayhem is available for the Vita, with 50% discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
US PS Vita Store Update for May 21st 2013
A massive update to the PlayStation Store this week, with lots of new games now available for download, Men’s Room Mayhem and Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault. Tearaway Gameplay Trailer Released
Media Molecule have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming PS Vita title Tearaway. The new trailer showcases how players can use the PS Vita’s controls to play the game, including the console’s rear touch pad. The game will be releasing in October, but you can pre-order it now and grab yourself some bonuses at the same time.
New Killzone Mercenary Images Released
Nine new images of upcoming FPS title Killzone Mercenary have been released for the PS Vita. The game, scheduled for release in September, has a lot to live up to seeing as the Vita hasn’t seen a decent first-person shooter yet. The PS Vita’s other FPS titles, Resistance and below-par Black Ops Declassified were average, but these screenshots show that Killzone Mercenary is shaping up to be the FPS title Vita owners have longed for.
Exclusive Title “Freedom Wars” Coming to PS Vita
Panopticon, the PlayStation game teased over the last couple of weeks, has been revealed to be actually called “Freedom Wars”. Developed by Japan Studio, the multiplayer game will be exclusive to the PS Vita, but won’t be releasing until 2014. The new trailer for the game adds more content, both other details about the game sill remain unknown. Check out the old and new trailers below.
