It looks like Sony are finally starting to discount PS Vita titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers in North America. This week, a number of Vita titles have been reduced, saving gamers 20% – 50% of normal prices. Although some of the games are pretty old, the discounts will encourage gamers to buy games they don’t already own.
Machinarium Gets ESRB Rating for PS Vita
The award winning puzzle game, Machinarium, originally released on PC in 2009 has been rated by the ESRB for the PS Vita. The PS3 version of the game was announced back in march 2011 but has yet to materialise. The point and click puzzle game will be perfect the the PS Vita’s touch screen, turning it into a “touch and tap” game instead.
Street Fighter X Tekken Release Date for PS Vita Announced
Capcom has revealed final release date for Street Fighter X Tekken on PlayStation Vita in Europe. The game will feature 55 playable characters and will released in Europe on October 19th 2012. In addition, Capcom also detailed four new features exclusive to the PS Vita version of the game.
New LittleBigPlanet Trailer for PS Vita Released
Sony has released a new trailer for the PS Vita version of LittleBigPlanet. The Japanese trailer shows more footage from the game, which is only a few short months away from release. Check out the trailer below.
Plants vs Zombies Gets Price Cut Tomorrow
PopCap’s Plants vs Zombies is getting a discount over the weekend with the PS3 and PS Vita versions both getting price cuts. The game has won over 30 Game of the Year awards and you can pick up the games from tomorrow at 12:00pm GMT at discounted prices, until Sunday, July 22nd at 11:59pm GMT.
Sound Shapes on PS Vita Gets Exclusive Track
Upcoming PlayStation Vita game, Sound Shapes, has secured exclusive music from American artist Beck. The side-scroller platfoming game will include three brand new tracks by Beck that will be exclusive to the game. Other confirmed musical talent includes deadmau5, Jim Guthrie and I Am Robot.
Sony will Shift Focus to PS Vita at Tokyo Games Show
As part of a Q&A session, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Hiroshi Kawano revealed to Japanese magazine Famitsu that TGS will focus more on the PlayStation Vita. Kawano promises some major game reveals for the PS Vita at TGS in September.

Rumor Alert: Medal of Honor: Warfighter Spotted for PS Vita
Medal of Honor: Warfighter may be heading to the PS Vita if recent rumors are to be believed. The upcoming first-person shooter was spotted on EA’s Online Help Center listed for several formats including Xbox 360, PC, PS3 and the PS Vita.
