Resistance: Burning Skies Screens
With Resistance: Burning Skies scheduled to be out in a week’s time, new screenshots have been released to show off how polished the game looks on the PlayStation Vita. There isn’t a visible HUD in the screens so it’s unclear if the screens are actual gameplay or cut-scenes.

If you don’t own a 3G PlayStation Vita, you can still game on the go using an Android mobile or iPhone. The Android is the best option as internet tethering is standard on the latest phones, while iPhone users will be charged extra to enable tethering. All you need to do is enable Wi-Fi tethering on your device and connect to the hotspot using your PS Vita.
LittleBigPlanet Beta Emails Going Out
According to reports, beta email for LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation Vita have started going out, containing a PSN code to download the beta from the PlayStation Store. The beta registration opened around two weeks ago. Naturally, no everyone who applied for the beta will get access.
Resistance: Burning Skies to Spread “Virus” Using Near
The fifth title in the Resistance franchise, Resistance: Burning Skies, will be available on the PlayStation Vita at the end of May across Europe. With just a few days to do until release, Frank Simon, Senior Managing Producer at Sony Computer America, has revealed that the game will make use of the PS Vita’s Near application.
Two Vita Titles Cancelled as Developer Sticks with iOS
Mobile developer Cave have cancelled their two Vita games currently in production, according to a note in the latest Famitsu magazine. Two titles were being developed for the PS Vita, including a social game making use of the PS Vita’s features, including the use of Near to check-in and in-game coins based on how far you’ve travelled with the game.
