Sony has revealed that Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita will be coming to PlayStation Plus ast part of next week’s PlayStation Store update. The game will added to the Instant Game Collection on December 19th 2012, but gamers in Germany won’t have access to the game due to youth protection laws.

Mortal Kombat Coming to PlayStation Plus Next Month
In next week’s PlayStation Store update, PlayStation Plus subscribers in Europe can look forward to Mortal Kombat joining the Instant Game Collection. The game will be available to download on December 5th 2012, after the weekly PlayStation Store update. The second game to join the Instant Game Collection in December will be Knytt Underground.

Mortal Kombat Hits PS Vita May 4th 2012
Mortal Kombat hits the PlayStation Vita this Friday, featuring unique and innovative scenarios that took advantage of the numerous console features (such as the touchscreen and the accelerometer). The game also features 150 new Challenge Tower missions that incorporate the DLC characters (like Freddy Krueger!) but also a long-awaited opportunity to create challenges based around the characters.
Mortal Kombat Release Date Confirmed for PlayStation Vita
Warner Bros has confirmed that Mortal Kombat will be releasing on the PlayStation Vita on May 4th 2012. According to Ed Boon, the Creative Director at NetherRealm, “The original game content and new features we developed for the PlayStation Vita will provide gamers with the best fighting game experience available on the new mobile platform.”
