A major new firmware update was made available overnight for the PS Vita, updating the console to system software v2.60. The update includes a large number of new features and tweaks to make the console even easier to use, including a smoother looking interface, more PlayStation Plus functionality, and privacy settings for Trophies.
A number of new PS Vita games are available on the European PlayStation Store this week, including Pixeljunk Monsters: Ultimate HD and Superfrog HD. Two new PS Vita games have also been added to the Instant Game Collection, including LEGO The Lord of the Rings and When Vikings Attack. You can also find a selection of new PS Mobile titles and Rayman Legends is available for pre-order.
Pixeljunk Monsters: Ultimate HD is just one of the new PS Vita games available on the US PlayStation Store this week, and PlayStation Plus subscribers can purchase the game at a discount. You can also find Dokuro, which is now part of the Instant Game Collection. A handful of new DLC is also available for LittleBigPlanet (cross-buy with the PS3).
A number of new PS Vita games, PS Mobile games and DLC is available on the PlayStation Store in Europe this week, including new cross-buy title Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark. New PS Mobile games include Chaos Rings and Attack of the Mutants. DLC is already available for Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark, which is free for two weeks if you purchase the game.
A bunch of new content is available for the PS Vita this week on the North American PlayStation Store, including new game Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark. You can also find new cross-buy DLC for Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, which is now available on the PS3, new PlayStation Plus discounts and other content on the store.
Team17 have announced that Worms will be coming to the PS Vita later this year, in a new title called Worms Revolution Extreme. The game will have an extensive single player campaign spanning 47 missions and 25 puzzles, local and online multiplayer, and cross-play functionality with the PS3.
A small PlayStation Store update is now live in Europe, including a number new PlayStation Mobile titles but no new PS Vita games. New PS Mobile titles include Touch Treasure, Feed Me Oil, and more. New DLC can also be found in this week’s update, including DLC for LittleBigPlanet and Dead Or Alive 5 Plus.
