Velocity Ultra for the PS Vita has been added to the Instant Game Collection too, letting PlayStation Plus subscribers to download the game for free, or it can be purchased for £6.49/€7.99.

PS Vita’s World Wide Sales Figures are Disappointing
Sony has revealed that only 1.8 million PS Vita units have been sold world wide, as of March 31st 2013. The information was revealed in a Sony earnings call following the company’s annual earnings report this week, and was picked up by GameTrailers. The figures are very disappointing, considering the Vita has been available for over a year now.
Sony Teasing “Amazing Big Title” for the PS Vita
Shahid Ahmad, Senior Business Development Manager at SCEE, has revealed that there’s “an amazing big title” coming to the PlayStation Vita via twitter. Although no details were revealed, he clarified in a second tweet that the title is not a indie game, and that players will be hooked to the game for “hours a day.”
Tearaway Pre-Order Benefits Revealed
Media Molecule has revealed details on the exclusive bonus content you’ll get for pre-ordering your copy of Tearaway for PS Vita. The game will be available in two different pre-order packages, available from participating retailers: The Jukebox Pack and The Special Delivery Pack. The game will be releasing in stores and on the PlayStation Store on October 23rd 2013.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for April 2013
Sony Europe has released the PlayStation Network chart for content downloaded in April 2013, revealing the top downloaded content on the PS Vita and PSP. The most downloaded PS Vita title was Guacamelee!, followed by Urban Trial Freestyle, which has dropped to number 2. New title Soul Sacrifice debuts on the chart at number 5, while AR Play title Table Mini Golf enters the chart at number 6.
EU PS Vita Store Update for May 8th 2013
A very light update to the European PlayStation Store this week, as only a handful of new content has been added. Nun Attack is available for just £1.99 / €2.49, and new PlayStation Plus content is available too. Sine Mora has been added to the Instant Game Collection, and you can also find new DLC content too.
PlayStation Vita System Software Ver. 2.12
Overnight, Sony released a new minor firmware update for the PS Vita, updating the system software to version v2.12. The update simply improves system software stability, but luckily it’s optional to install, so you won’t need it unless you are having issues on your portable console or unless a specific PS Vita game required the firmware to be installed.
Men’s Room Mayhem Coming to PS Vita
Sawfly Studios and Ripstone have announced a new indie game for the PS Vita, called Men’s Room Mayhem, and its exactly what it sounds like. In Men’s Room Mayhem you’re hired as the janitor of your very own chaotic men’s room. You’re responsible for directing patrons, keeping everywhere sparkling clean and steering patrons away from trouble. You need to get your customers safely to the urinals and cubicles in time – otherwise there’ll be a few nasty accidents for you to clean up.

The first PlayStation Store update for May is now live in Europe, and it includes new games and DLC for the PS Vita. New games include cross-buy title Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov’s Revenge, and Machinarium on the PS Vita. New title Soul Sacrifice has also been added to the Store, and will be available to download from May 3rd 2013.
US PS Vita Store Update for April 30th 2013
Lots of new content is available on the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including cross-buy title Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov’s Revenge, which is available on the PS3 and PS Vita, and is free to download if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber. A new playable demo and DLC content is available for a number of games.
