The PS Vita’s firmware has been updated to version 2.10, adding many improvements and new features to the system. The firmware update adds HTML5 video compatibility to the Browser, and allows your home screen icons to be grouped into Folders, supporting up to 10 apps per folder. Improvements to other apps have also been made, including Email, Group Messaging and the Content Manager.

US PS Vita Store Update for April 9th 2013
Lots of new content is available on the North American PlayStation Store this week, including a number of new games like Guacamelee!. AR Play title Table Mini Golf is available to download on the too, as well as some new DLC content and PSOne classics.
PS Vita Firmware v2.10 Available Now
The latest PS Vita firmware went live overnight, updating the system software to v2.10. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber and have automatic updates turned on, you’ll find the firmware update already downloaded and waiting to be installed. In addition to folders, the firmware update adds and improves a number of features.
PS Vita Firmware 2.10 Coming This Week
Following from our earlier story about the PS Vita getting folder support, it now appears that Firmware version v2.10 will be released this week, with folder support confirmed. The current source is a Japanese blog, but you can expect an official post from Sony to confirm soon. The firmware update will also add video streaming to the console.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for March 2013
Sony has released the chart for the top downloaded content from the PlayStation Store last month (you can find the North American chart here). Urban Trial Freestyle was the most downloaded PS Vita game last month, staying at the No. 1 spot for the second month running. Ragnarok Odyssey was the second most downloaded title, moving up from 4th place in February, and Persona 4 Golden was in third place, up from 7th place.
Next PS Vita Firmware Update to Add Folder Support
The PS Vita could be getting folder support in the next firmware update, according to a comment on the European PlayStation.Blog. SCEE Blog Manager, Fred Dutton, replied “we may have good news for you very soon” in response to a query about “a Vita firmware update to stack your games in folders and for the memory card to save the layout of apps and games etc.”
New LittleBigPlanet Title Heading to PlayStation Vita?
A new LittleBigPlanet game could be heading to the PS Vita later this year according to PlayStation France CEO, Philippe Cardon. In a recent interview with Pockett, Cardon told the site that “another” LittleBigPlanet title is due to launch on PlayStation Vita later this year., stating that both Soul Sacrifice and LittleBigPlanet would lead 2013 software sales for the platform.
EU PS Vita Store Update for April 3rd 2013
New content is available on the PlayStation Store in Europe, but it’s a very small update for the PS Vita. Only one piece of new content is available this week, and it’s some new DLC for LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.
US PS Vita Store Update for April 2nd 2013
The first PlayStation Store update for April is now live in North America, bringing new content for the PS Vita. This week’s update is quite light on content, only adding new DLC to the PlayStation Store for a couple of titles.
EU PS Vita Store Update for March 27th 2013
New PS Vita games and DLC are available on the European PS Vita Store this week, including Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time and Dead Or Alive 5 Plus. New DLC for a number of games is available, including Day 1 DLC for Dead or Alive 5 Plus, and cross-buy DLC for LittleBigPlanet.
