IGN revealed that Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Season 1 is making its way onto the PS Vita. PlayStation’s Director of Product Planning and Platform Software Innovation Don Mesa didn’t mention a release date when talking to IGN nor did he reveal any details on whether the game will be released episodically.

Limbo Heading to PS Vita
PSN title Limbo is heading to the PS Vita, developer PlayDead has revealed. The game was recently given away to PlayStation Plus subscribers on the PS3, and has a high score of 90 on Metacritic. Unfortunately, PlayDead didn’t mention a release window or any other details about the PS Vita version.
Zero Escape and Thomas Was Alone Coming to PlayStation Plus in April
Sony Europe will be adding two new PS Vita games to the Instant Game Collection next month. Starting from April 10th, Plus subscribers will be able to download acclaimed interactive adventure Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. Then on April 24th 2013, subscribers will be able to download the BAFTA-nominated cross-buy title Thomas Was Alone.
Sony Releases New PS Vita Commercial
Sony has released a new commercial to promote the PS Vita but has done a poor job of it. The commercial advertises PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, but fails to actually name the game in the advert except in the small-print towards the end. Furthermore, the PS Vita logo isn’t actually shows in the advert either. Take a look at the commercial below and see what you make of it.
EU PS Vita Store Update for March 20th 2013
The PS Vita has received a fairly small PlayStation Store update this week in Europe, consisting of a new game and new DLC content. Atelier Totori Plus is available to download for the PS Vita. New DLC includes more PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale content and the Star Trek table for The Pinball Arcade.
US PlayStation Store Update for March 19th 2013
New PS Vita and PSOne titles are available on the US PlayStation Store this week, including Nun Attack and Dead or Alive 5 Plus. PlayStation Plus subscribers also have a new title to download from the Instant Game Collection: Tekken 6, compatible with the PSP and PS Vita.
Disney’s Epic Mickey 2 Coming to PS Vita
Disney has announced that Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will be coming to the PS Vita later this year. Epic Mickey 2 sees the iconic mouse explore the weird and wonderful world of Wastelast, equipped with a enchanted paintbrush to find new paths, solve puzzles and battle evil mechanical monsters. The game can be played along, or co-op alongside Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
Nun Attack Coming to PS Vita Next Month
Popular mobile game Nun Attack is coming to the PS Vita next month. In this tactical action game, evil is taking over and prayers are no longer answered, so it’s up to you for some divine intervention. Playing as one of four heavily-armed nuns, each with a unique personality and special power, it’s up to you to defeat the evil Fallen Nun and restore balance to the world.
PS Vita Firmware v2.06 Released
Sony has released new firmware update for the PS Vita, updating the console to version v2.06. The minor update is mandatory, and will need to be installed if you wish to access the PlayStation Store or play games online. The changelog for the update states that system stability has been improved during use of some features, though it’s not clear what features Sony is referring to.
Rumor Alert: 3G PS Vita to be Discontinued
Recents reports suggest that Sony will be discontinuing the 3G version of the PS Vita. Joystiq reports widespread price discounting of the 3G version (down to $199.97), which gets you a 8GB memory card and a free game (after signing up for 3G Internet access). If true, it’s hardly a surprise since only a handful of games work exclusively on the 3G version.
