New content has been added to the European PlayStation Store. Imaginstruments is now available free to download on the PS Vita, and two new PS Mobile have been released on the store too. You can also find new DLC for a number of titles to enjoy.

Following Sony’s CES press conference this week, Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai admitted that PlayStation Vita sales are currently at the bottom end of the company’s expectations. The latest sales figures for the PS Vita haven’t been released yet, but the last official figure from June 2012 stands at 2.2 million units.
Sony has pulled another game from the PlayStation Store after another exploit allowing homebrew applications to run on the PS Vita is discovered. Gameloft’s PSP game UNO has been pulled from the store after it was discovered the game could be used to run unsigned code from modified game saves.

Sony has revealed (via Twitter) that a new firmware update for the PS Vita is now available to download. The minor update is optional to install and improves software stability during use of some features. It is likely that the firmware will be required with playing newer titles.
