EU PlayStation Store Update for October 17th 2012
On the European PlayStation Store, PS Vita owners can now download new title Burn the Rope, and the Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz demo. Two new PS Mobile games are also available, along with new PSP and PSOne titles to enjoy. Finally, new DLC is also available, including the free Battalion pack for Pure Chess.
US PlayStation Store Update for October 16th 2012
Three new PS Vita games have been added to the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including access to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale PS Vita Beta and Silent Hill: Book of Memories. Gamers can also find new Minis and PSOne classics added to the store this well, along with new DLC content.
Japan Getting Two New PS Vita Bundles
Sony has revealed two PS Vita bundles for Japan to add value to the console, both scheduled to be released in November. The Starter Pack includes a 3G PS Vita console, a 4GB memory card and a copy of Everybody’s Golf 6. The Starter Pack will be available from November 22nd and will retail for ¥29,980 (approximately $380).
PS Vita Sells One Million Units in Japan Since Launch
Less than a year since release, the PlayStation Vita has passed the one million units sold mark in Japan. The portable console shifted less than 8,000 units between October 1st and October 10th 2012 – one of the worst selling weeks in Japan – but managed to creep past the one million mark in the process.
EU PlayStation Store Update for October 10th 2012
Two new PS Vita games are available to download from the European PlayStation Store this week, including Doctor Who : The Eternity Clock, which is available for just £7.99/€9.99. New DLC is also available for The Pinball Arcade, which is cross-compatible with the PS3 version of the game.

Lots of new PS Vita games have been added to the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock and colourful SunFlowers. New PSOne titles have also been added to the Store, and there have been some price reductions on a handful of titles too.
PS Vita + PS3 Bundles Available this Christmas?
If you don’t own a PS Vita and a PS3, Sony many have the ideal package for you this Christmas. PlayStation UK’s managing director, Fergal Gara, said that the company are looking at the possibility of bundling the two devices together with cross-play games and a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Not a lot of new content has been added to the PlayStation Store this week, but you do have over 20 PlayStation Mobile titles to enjoy following the official launch. New PS Vita DLC is available on the store this week including new LittleBigPlanet costumes and the The Director’s Cut DLC for Escape Plan.
No PS Vita Price Cut Until Next Year Says Sony UK
Sony’s UK boss, Fergal Gara, has said the PS Vita will eventually get a price cut, but don’t expect one this year. As manufacturing costs are reduced, the price of the PS Vita will fall, but until then, Sony is working with retail partners to add value to the PS Vita instead of a straight-up price cut.
