Criterion has revealed that upcoming Need for Speed title, Most Wanted, on the PS Vita will be identical to its console counterparts. Speaking to VideoGamer.com last week, producer Matt Webster revealed that the PlayStation Vita version is “exactly the same game” as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.

Over 100 PSOne Classics will be Compatible with PS Vita on August 28th
In a Press Release, Sony has confirmed that over a 100 PSOne Classics will be compatible on the PS Vita when Firmware v1.80 launches at the end of August. Jim Ryan revealed that from August 28th, over 100 PS One classics including Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, and Resident Evil 2 will be available to download for PS Vita.
Sony Working on PS Vita Price Cut, But Focus is on Bundles
Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida has told Eurogamer that the company’s engineering teams are trying to find ways to bring the cost of the PS Vita down, however, don’t expect a price cut this year. For the remainder of the year, Sony will be focusing on value with PS Vita bundles like the recently announced PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified bundles.
Ratchet & Clank: QForce Coming to PS Vita
At the Gamescom Press Conference, Sony announced that Ratchet & Clank are coming to the PS Vita in Ratchet & Clank: QForce. The game will be available on both the PS3 and PS Vita, and will support full cross-play and cross-save support. The new Cross-buy initiative will also be extended to QForce, meaning anyone purchasing the PS3 version will be able to download the PS Vita at no additional cost.
US PlayStation Store Update for August 14th 2012
There is no new content for the PS Vita or PSP in this week’s PlayStation Store update in North America. Instead, Sony has a sale on for a number of Minis titles, which have been reduced by up to 75%.
