Some bad news for PS Vita owners: Trendy Entertainment has stopped trying to make Dungeon Defenders for the console. Community manager for the company said “Many fans, including myself, would like to play Dungeon Defenders on the portable device, but ultimately, we’ve decided to divert those resources to other pursuits.”

PS Vita Sales in Japan Double
A few popular games in Japan have the boosted the PS Vita’s sales in Japan. The Metal Gear Solid Collection and Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed: Battle Destiny have both helped the console sell almost twice the units compared to last week. Lets hope Vita sales continue to climb as new titles are released.
Top PSN Sellers for May 2012
In last month’s PSN Sales Chart, Mortal Kombat on top place for the most downloads on the PS Vita, while the previous top title from April, Escape Plan, has dropped to 3rd place. Final Fantasy titles still dominate the PSOne classic’s chart and God of War: Ghost of Sparta is top selling PSP title.
Resistance: Burning Skies “Memorial” Trailer Release
A new trailer for Resistance: Burning Skies on the PS Vita has been released titled “Memorial”. The trailer is dedicated to gamers who have “fallen” in the game’s online multiplayer battles. In addition, Sony has announced that the Resistance avatars included in the pre-order voucher will be available on June 26th.
MotorStorm RC Update Adds New Features
A new update for MotorStorm RC on the PS Vita and PS3 is now available to download. The update fixes a number of bugs with game as well as make the campaign mode a little easier. The playable demo has also been updated to let you play different tracks.
Sony Doesn’t Want to Make Same Mistakes as PSP
John Koller, Sony’s head of hardware marketing, was interviewed by Kotaku regarding the PlayStation Vita. He talks about the Vita’s success and how Sony want to avoid making the same mistake with the new console as they did with the PSP. However, it does seem Sony is just repeating what happened…

PS Vita & Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation Bundle Details
Announced at E3 2012, the Assassin’s Creed 3 PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 bundles are now available for pre-order online. The bundle costs $249.99 and include a white PS Vita system, a 4 GB memory card, and Assassin’s Creed 3: Libreration on card. The PS3 bundle is $299.99 and will include a black 320 GB PS3 and Assassin’s Creed 3 on Blu-ray.
