A new game for the PS Vita has been revealed. KickBeat is a music game; it just doesn’t look like one. KickBeat follows in the tradition of controller based music games, like Patapon and Frequency. Although its beat-matching mechanic is not complex and will be familiar to fans of the music game genre, KickBeat does a couple things that make it different from anything else you’ve played.

With Resistance: Burning Skies scheduled to be out in a week’s time, new screenshots have been released to show off how polished the game looks on the PlayStation Vita. There isn’t a visible HUD in the screens so it’s unclear if the screens are actual gameplay or cut-scenes.
PulzAR Coming to PS Vita Next Month
Yet another Augmented Reality game is heading to the PlayStation Vita. The new title, PulzAR, joins the AR Play line-up in June, turning any surface into a puzzle game with the use of the AR Play cards that came with your PS Vita.

Two Vita Titles Cancelled as Developer Sticks with iOS
Mobile developer Cave have cancelled their two Vita games currently in production, according to a note in the latest Famitsu magazine. Two titles were being developed for the PS Vita, including a social game making use of the PS Vita’s features, including the use of Near to check-in and in-game coins based on how far you’ve travelled with the game.
