The 3G version of the PS Vita has been reduced in price at Vodafone retail stores. According to reports, the price has been cut from the RRP of £279 to £194 – making it cheaper than the Wifi version in some stores. The 3G Vita comes with a Vodafone pay-as-you-go SIM card for 3G internet access.
Silent Hill: Book of Memories was originally slated for release in March, but was pushed out of the PS Vita launch window until May. Well, it’s May and still no Silent Hill. It appears that Konami have delayed the title again, but chose not to tell the public.
Sly Cooper and Carmelita Fox are coming to the PlayStation Vita, and picks up where Sly 3 left off. In Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Sly is feigning amnesia so he can be with the love of his life, Carmelita. But when he re-joins the Cooper Gang on their time-travelling escapade to restore his family’s legacy, you can be sure Carmelita will quickly become embroiled in their wild adventure.
Launching this fall, Smart As is a social brain-training experience that will put your brain to the test with 20 unique, engaging, tactile and highly interactive puzzle games. This next-gen puzzle game will also enable you to share your stats with players from around the world using a robust set of social and connective features.
According to Chart-Track data, the PS Vita in the UK is tracking at just under a third of what the PSP achieved after the first ten weeks. The PS Vita has sold just 100,000 units according to the website, although the numbers have not been confirmed by Sony.
