A Russian website is claiming that Sony has announced the release date for LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation Vita. The game, developed by Tarsier Studios, will be on sale from September 28th 2012, though we cannot find any official reference of this date in our research. For now, we’ve filed this under ‘Rumors’, but hopefully we get confirmation soon.

Rumour Alert: PlayStation Vita 3D Data Plan Prices Leaked in UK
Last week, Sony and AT&T revealed the pricing for using 3G on your PlayStation Vita, but no pricing plans have yet been revealed by Vodafone – the preferred 3G carrier for the PS Vita in Europe. There are rumours going around of a Dutch PlayStation Community Manager saying a 3G Vita will come with €20 of credit on the SIM and a simple top-up of the same amount will be enough to get you a download of WipEout 2048.
Rumor Alert: No Vita in Europe Until 2012
If CVG and VG247 are to be believed, the PlayStation Vita won’t arrive on European store shelves until early 2012. Although the release date has yet to be confirmed by Sony, they are still aiming for a pre-Christmas launch in North America. It would be disappointing if the European release date is in 2011.
Rumor Alert: NGP Will Be Called PlayStation Vita

Naturally, Sony haven’t confirmed the news (lets wait until E3 for official confirmation), so for now, this is filed under the rumor category.
