A free update for Soul Sacrifice will be available to download on the PS Vita later today, updating the game to version v1.30. The patch adds 16 challenging new quests to the game at difficulty level 10, but will also be the last patch for the game.

Soul Sacrifice Demo Coming to PS Vita This Week
Soul Sacrifice will be getting a playable demo ahead of the game’s official launch later this month. The PS Vita exclusive title will launch from April 30th 2013 across Europe, but a playable demo will be available from April 17th 2013 from the PlayStation Store (that’s this Wednesday).
Soul Sacrifice’s EU Box Art Revealed
Sony Europe has revealed the official box art for upcoming PS Vita game Soul Sacrifice. The PAL version of the game will have a reversible cover, so fans of the Japanese box art can flip the sleeve over to showcase that instead. The new box art will have already started to appear in stores and online, but the game will launch across Europe from May 1st 2013.
TGS 2012: Soul Sacrifice Delayed and New Trailer Revealed
Monster hunting co-op game Soul Sacrifice for the PS Vita has been delayed. Keiji Inafune made the announcement at the Tokyo Game Show before revealing a new trailer for the game. The game will be delayed in Japan until 2013, meaning the Western release will also be pushed back.
Soul Sacrifice on PS Vita Will Support Online Multiplayer
While Soul Sacrifice has an AI controlled partner in single player mode, creator and Comcept CEO Keiji Inafune designed it as a multiplayer game. In an interview with Siliconera, Inafune said “I recommend the multiplayer mode where you can play with your friends or girlfriend.”
E3 2012: Soul Sacrifice Trailer
Sony’s E3 Press Conference was a bit lacking on the PS Vita side of things, but they still have plenty to revealed it seems. For example, a new trailer for Soul Sacrifice has been released. The game combines a mature Gothic setting with deep action RPG elements, with similarities to Capcom’s Monster Hunter.

It’s been announced that Soul Sacrifice for PS Vita will be coming to Europe. The legendary Keiji Inafune of Comcept is leading this project with MarvelousAQL, with Yasunori Mitsuda and Wataru Hokoyama working on the music and soundtrack.
